Daft Punk is Playing at My House

I be a Pirate of the Internet Seas!

Found me a couple more Daft Punk songs, because I dare not do anything further to fuck with my sleep schedule.

Tuesday night at the Kame Haus turned into really freaking early on Wednesday morning. I got most of the way home without my eyeballs rebelling and closing WHILE I WAS DRIVING!!!!...yeah, nothing dangerous about that. So I rolled into an Irving station that has WHOAOMGFLAMINGTRAIN!!!1!11 Turned itself into a Blue Canoe.

On a related but seperate note, Blue Canoe is a truly fucking stupid name for a convenience store.

So I go to the super-fun Caffiene machine of destiny and partake in some of the fine hot chocolate action they have to offer. As I stand in line, I think to myself thoughts. Thoughts that I put here now to share with you reading-my-LJ types.

"Damn. There's quite a line for it being so late. Waitasec...it's no longer late. It's EARLY! Holy shit, these people are starting their day. Suits, newspapers, briefcases...and here I am looking like a fucking zombie dragging my undead ass home. Wacky."

Yeah. So I got home around like 6AM, and I turned into a Nirvana lyric. I was so friggin' tired, I couldn't sleep. The last time I looked at the clock before I finally fell asleep, it was 6:30. I woke up at 10AM to go to work. (HA!)

After work, I fell over dead for a couple more hours, got up around 8:30 and went and saw Fantastic Four again. Screw you nay sayers, it's a good movie! That and Dark Water had already started (the movie I was originally going to go check out).

Got back from that...put on my Pirate hat and found me some Daft Punk, messed around with a 500 point idea for Heroclix, then figured I'd post something on LJ that had little to no point. It's nice from a narraration standpoint at least, I think.

Ok, time to go see what else I can do before I go fall over dead again.

And then there's this thing here...saw it on Pocky's LJ. And thought to myself, "sure". CTRL+C, CTRL+V, viola.

"I know very little about some of the people on my Friends list. Some people I know relatively well. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say, "Ah, there's so and so - she likes snake oil and pillowcases."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal(s)"

Well, my name is Melanie A. Warwick and I am an employee at the Strand Theatre in Downtown Dover (I think you are familiar with the business that I am referring to). I am going to school in the state that you hate most, so I give you permission to punch me in the face if I start acting like them.

Yarr... my name is Danny. You also know me from a wonderful little place called The Strand. Like the lovely lady above who also works with me, I too am attending college in Maine, but I plan on conquering our half-retarded, jargon speaking neighbors to the northeast.

... I also like snake oil and pillowcases...
